沈陽市大東區(qū)望花街第三小學，位于大東區(qū)文東街28號，地處沈陽城鄉(xiāng)交界處。我校始建于1958年8月，2001年10月歸口到大東區(qū)教育局領導，在建校后的42年中學校雖幾經遷移但發(fā)展十分緩慢。2002年—2007年，是學校飛躍發(fā)展的六年，在大東區(qū)教育局和政府部門的關心下，校園、校舍面積不斷擴大，六年中學校辦學條件不斷改善，更為學校配備了語音室、微機室、音樂教室等專用教室。使學校硬件建設有了一定的改善，為教育教學提供了有利的保障。
教師地位不斷提高，教師隊伍不斷擴大。學校始終致力于教書育人、科研興校，以“創(chuàng)名校、出名師、育名生”為辦學終極目標，以德育為首位，以教學為中心，以科研為動力，教科研工作如火如荼，方興未艾，涌現(xiàn)出了一匹科研型的教師。學校提出“構筑孩子成功的基石，搭建教師發(fā)展的平臺，營造學校和諧的空間”的辦學理念，充分體現(xiàn)了以人為本的人性化的辦學理念。我校在1993年—2006年學校上交或發(fā)表教學論文、優(yōu)秀案例260余篇，20余篇教學經驗文稿在區(qū)內交流。12人次參加區(qū)優(yōu)質課競賽并獲獎，參加國家、省、市、區(qū)、街各級各類競賽并獲獎的師生達400余人次。受到上級部門領導的好評。
